Family Home, Warwickshire
Having recently re-designed their garden I was initially asked to introduce some garden furniture which could be enjoyed both in Summer and Winter. A dining area but also an area for relaxing and chilling over a G&T. Working closely with one of my recommended joinery companies we were able to design something that was comfortable but also architecturally interesting and worked well with the surrounding foliage.
The second phase of this project was to enlarge the kitchen and living area where the garden could also be enjoyed throughout the year. Working with a talented builder we re-designed the three roomed kitchen, removing several walls to create an open plan living space more suited to our lifestyle of today. By incorporating bi-folding doors and creating an opening into the formal sitting room, which was never used, the house is now perfect for entertaining.
Keeping inherited antique pieces of furniture we introduced a contemporary feel of soft greys and warm tones in embroidered fabrics and linens.
