14th Century Monastery, Herefordshire

Surrounded by beautiful scenery located in the heart of the Wye Valley Flanesford Priory has a grandeur and presence that just makes you go wow..!

Originally the living quarters of Augustian Monks, the Priory now incorporates a selection of luxury self-catering accommodation and facilities for large social events. 

My brief was to upgrade the largest of the properties that can sleep up to ten guests with generous living and kitchen areas. Catering for a broad audience of wedding guests to walking parties the overall mood had to be fun but also exude warmth and luxury.

I used a variety of fabrics in quite bold colours, floral patterns and stripes. Linens and velvets were the key elements along with soft wools and lots of gorgeous throws and cushions for a truly sumptuous feel.
